Laura became interested in mindfulness as a qualified Science and Psychology secondary school teacher observing that many young people were regularly shouldering unnecessary pressures and daily stresses. She completed a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course in 2017 quickly saw how the skills learned through mindfulness would benefit the mental wellbeing of young people. She trained to teach the .b (Dot Be) mindfulness programme for 12-18 year olds through the Mindfulness In Schools Project (MiSP) in 2019. She now teaches the nine week .b course for teens in the classroom and in private sessions.
