Sarah, a qualified Primary School teacher, first heard of Mindfulness in 2013, while in conversation with a friend, but didn’t pursue it until 2017, when she completed the 8-week MBSR course. Sarah felt it was unlike anything she had done before, an exercise to keep the mind healthy, and became passionate about delivering it to children. She trained to teach the PAWS B (Pause Be) course for 7-11 year olds in 2019. Sarah has seen first-hand recently in schools how children struggle to concentrate fully on lessons when there’s a lot of social or emotional problems/worries buzzing around in their minds. She has since gone on to teach the 10-12 week course in schools across Norfolk and in private courses for families.
