
8-Week Mindfulness Courses – 26th September 2022
The 8-Week Mindfulness for Life, afternoon and evening studio courses in Postwick, Norwich, are back on 26th September 2022. Developed by the University of Oxford, this course teaches you to calm your mind to help you thrive. Research shows we need to be exercising our brains as well as our bodies to stay healthy and it takes as little as 12 minutes of mindfulness a day, 5 days a week, to achieve this. Once you’ve learned mindfulness and developed a regular practice, you will notice that life feels more enjoyable and you feel calmer and more in control, even when difficulty arises. The 8-Week Mindfulness Course has been shown to improve sleep and relationships and to reduce pain, fatigue, anxiety, stress and depression. Mindfulness is an essential skill for life.
In each class, there is a 30 minute mindfulness practice, interactive teaching of a new mindfulness concept and discussions around the challenges and experiences in developing your mindfulness skills. Practises include Mindful Eating, Mindful Walking, Mindful Movement, Mindful Awareness of Breath, the Body Scan and others.

Dates: 26th September; 3rd, 10th, 17th October; 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th November (no classes 24th and 31st October – half term)
