Experience the benefits of mindfulness in a small friendly group in the Postwick Simply Mindfulness Studio in this esteemed course developed by the University of Oxford. The course runs for 8 weeks on Wednesday afternoons from 12:30-2:30pm starting on 6th October.
Mindfulness is a valuable life skill to keep you balanced and healthy with a ripple effect that supports the wellbeing of the people around you. With busy lives, our brains learn to live in constantly ‘switched on’ state, leaving us feeling agitated, dissatisfied and exhausted. By training the skill of of moving your attention to focus on what is steadying in the present moment, you are training the brain to exist in a more restful state, leaving you feeling calmer, happier, healthier and more in control of your life. The course is taught by Debbie Larson, HCPC registered occupational therapist and BAMBA listed mindfulness teacher. You will receive the Finding Peace in a Frantic World book by Mark Williams, a course manual and a certificate on completion.
